About Photon
Photon is online automated photo- and videography agency. Photon operates on an on-demand basis, allowing clients to request photography services whenever and wherever they need them. Photon has a network of hundreds of photographers worldwide, who are vetted and trained to meet the company's quality standards. Clients submit a request for photography services on the platform, and Photon matches them with the most suitable photographer from its network. The photographer completes the assignment and uploads the photos to the Photon platform, where the client can review and download them. Photon handles all aspects of project management, including scheduling, payments.

Join Photon team!
As a first step, please fill out our application form which you can access here: https://photon.rocks/creators/join. After that, we will get in touch with you as soon as we see which of our client's projects you could potentially fit into. This could take time. If you are interested in the job, you will need to participate in an online interview and understand the client's project brief. If all goes well, you will be accepted into the team and you will receive notifications about incoming orders from that point on.
- A professional camera with a minimum of 18 megapixels and the ability to shoot in RAW format.
- Access to Adobe Lightroom or another photo editing software for post-production work.
- Wide-angle and 50 mm and/or telephoto lenses, a tripod and flash with softbox.
- A portfolio of your photography work, demonstrating your expertise in the relevant genres of photography.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in photography.- Availability to work on a flexible schedule and willingness to travel to various locations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and other team members.
- A legal entity and tax number for invoicing purposes.
Photon also requires its photographers to adhere to its quality standards and guidelines, which include attention to detail, prompt delivery of work, and responsiveness to client feedback.
- Arriving on time for every shoot and meeting all delivery deadlines.
- Interacting with clients in a respectful manner and adjusting communication to suit each individual.
- Adhering strictly to the provided brief and fulfilling all associated tasks.
- Ensuring all necessary equipment is brought to each shoot.
As a photographer working with Photon, you are free to work with other clients as well. Photon values its photographers and wants them to have the freedom to pursue other opportunities outside of the platform. However, if you do receive a request from a Photon client for a project, Photon expects you to prioritize that project to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
You are limited to accessing only those assignments that match the skills you have been granted and the clients you have been assigned to.
Certainly, you need to have a legal entity with a valid tax number.
Your Photon platform
The Photographer has the right to cancel a Project after applying for it. The Photographer must state the reason for cancellation. By cancelling, you agree to be subject to the obligation to pay contractual penalties. An email of the cancellation will be sent to you and to the client. If the Cancellation is made between the 48th, i.e. forty-eighth and the 24th, i.e. twenty-fourth hour prior to the commencement date and hour of the Project, you should pay an availability fee equal to 20% of the determined Project consideration, which will be included in the monthly settlement. If the cancellation is made between the commencement date and hour and the 24th, i.e. twenty-fourth hour prior to the commencement date of the Project, you should pay an availability fee equal to 50% of the determined Project consideration.
If you fail to appear at the place and time indicated in the Project description, Photon shall impose a contractual penalty on you of 200% of the Project Fee, and shall be entitled to suspend or cancel your account.

Billing and payment
We do not charge any subscription fees. Instead, our business model is based on commissions. The prices displayed on the platform are the same amount that you will receive in your earnings.
Photon offers competitive rates for its photographers and payment is made via bank transfer, two times a month. Rates may vary depending on the type of photography service, location, and other factors. Photon handles all aspects of project management and payment processing, allowing photographers to focus on their craft.
Your photoshoot
Of the photographers who have been accepted into the team and assigned to client projects, the fastest applicant among them will be given the project.
Delivery
Typically, in one day.
Photon is committed to providing high-quality photography services to its clients, and as a photographer, you are expected to deliver work that meets their expectations. In the event that a client is not satisfied with your work, they may request a reshoot or revisions. Photon will work with both the client and photographer to find a solution that satisfies both parties. It is important to communicate with the client throughout the project to ensure that their needs are being met and to avoid any misunderstandings. If a satisfactory solution cannot be found, Photon reserves the right to terminate the contract with the photographer.
As a photographer working with Photon, you retain the copyright to your images. However, you grant Photon a non-exclusive license to use and sublicense your images to clients for their specific projects. Photon ensures that clients only use your images for the purposes specified in their contracts, and the usage rights for each project are agreed upon in advance. In addition, Photon provides legal support to photographers and clients to help resolve any copyright or licensing disputes that may arise.
